"Mandala" Is On Amazon

My coloring book is now available on Amazon!

I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Here are some shots of the drawings inside:

*I'm not good with colored pencil but it was fun to color this.

The paper is thick and the black ink is very crisp and shiny. It's 8 in x 10 in with a glossy front cover. I've always wanted to create books- art process books, children's books and comic books- so this has made me inspired for future projects :)

I would say, for this paper, colored pencil and crayon are best. If you color with markers be sure to slip a piece of paper in behind the page you're coloring in case it bleeds through, (also I formatted so that the back of each drawing is blank!).

Happy new year everyone, thanks for stopping by!

Mandala Coloring Book

Currently I'm putting together a coloring book made mostly from Inktober 2018 drawings. This year, I've been looking at ways of making my art more interactive and it was during this last summer that I thought of coloring books.

Above is a shot of my fox mandala drawing before and after it's been cleaned up.

Also I thought the process of pulling the original scan away from the clean digital drawing looked pretty cool :) So here it is.

I'm hoping to finish this book within the next few weeks!

Thanks for looking.

2018, So Far

Today is my birthday. I'm 26 :)

It's been a busy year so far for me... in art and in life things.

I've been wondering for a while now how do creatives make true value for people and thus naturally make a consistent living from their art or writing or music or whatever.

I think it's about not over-complicating it and not straining to be super original.

Just create things that help people feel joy, relaxation, inspiration.
What does mean?
How do you do that?
Basically, you create content that you're excited about and not stressed out by.

Be small, be consistent.
Create everyday.

That's really it. And be sure to publish your work somewhere. Create a little corner of the universe for yourself where your people can find you.

Thanks for looking ~
